If you have a commitment to providing high-quality professional design services for clients in the Workplace market sector and thrive working within a creative, client-focused design environment, Gensler Minneapolis is the place to be. **This position is based on-site in our Minneapolis office 5 days a week** What You Will Do Perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting Generate floor plans, finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts Responsible for Construction Documentation and Construction Administration, supporting the delivery of the project design intent Work on multiple teams and support concurrent projects in varying phases of project delivery Manage external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators As a self-motivated designer with strong Revit skills, you can jump in and produce test fits and project deliverables Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited university 3-7 years of commercial interior design experience - ideally for Workplace, Hospitality or Mixed Use projects Proficient with Revit, SketchUp, 3D, Enscape, and other modeling software programs, such as Rhino, Grasshopper and/or Dynamo Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign a must) Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications Strong knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas Demonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices NCIDQ certified LEED AP is preferred Please include a portfolio (ideally showcasing your experience with the aforementioned project types) along with your resume.
