Your Role As a Technical Designer at Gensler, you will collaborate with a team of architects and designers to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction administration phase of a project. What You Will Do Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administrationCollaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectivesProduce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawingsUtilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design conceptsWork in a synergistic manner with other design and professional staffContribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programsYour Qualifications Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture2-5 years of related project experience at commercial interior design or architecture firmProficiency in Revit requiredOutstanding visualization & modeling capabilities using 3D software, such as Enscape, 3ds MAX, Sketch-up and/or Rhino utilizing V-Ray a plus.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)Knowledge of relevant building codes and accessibility requirementsEnrolled in IDP Program (NCARB or NCIDQ) and in-process for state licensureLEED Accredited Professional or in processAbility to work in person in the office 5 days a weekAbility to keep up in a fast paced environment, work collaboratively and have the ability to take direction from senior designers / architects.Clear verbal communication abilities and strong inter-personal skills.Possess visual communication style and are able to think and visualize in three-dimensions**The base salary will be estimated between $75,000 - $95,000 plus bonuses and benefits and is contingent on relevant experience.Life at Gensler At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
