Handyman / carpenter to work on remodeling kitchen and bath $20-40/hr

Job Description Specialty Kitchen & Bath Remodeling is seeking experienced handyman / carpenter to work on our remodeling kitchen and bath projects. Carpenter also may install kitchen cabinets, siding, and drywall. They will maintain a professional, ethical, and positive attitude with a high level of customer service working with sub- contractor as well as homeowners Position Requirements Experience with: • Kitchen remodeling process including demolition and installation work Essential Functions • Frame floors, walls, roofs and decks • Installing windows and exterior doors • Installing cabinetry, millwork and interior doors • Install and connect appliances • Install sub-flooring and underlayment • Install hardware on doors, windows and cabinets • Patch and texture drywall • Caulking and touch up paint • Clean and inspect work areas • Support superintendents Competencies • Extensive knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, miter saw and jigsaw • Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites • Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time • Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds • Knowledge of lumber grades and countertop materials Job Type: Full time salary* Work environment: • Local traveling required to assist our remodeling projects in the Puget Seattle Area • Must have most of the tools. Some specific tools will be provided Job Type: Full-time Salary: $20.00 to $40.00 /hour
