I am hiring a handyman for 10 to 20 hours a week of work, on one home, and if the work goes well after several months, work and hours can remain or increase (if handyman desires more hours). If you can also replace hardwood flooring, do light to medium plumbing, tile and/or bathroom reno work, rewire electrical/data cables, have experience with land irrigation and pump systems, are skilled at carpentry (such as building bookshelves if given designs), and other more complicated construction trades work, I can offer you this work too over time, if all else is going well. I will pay for all materials (from paints to nails), will provide an 18-foot-ladder on site but you should otherwise have your own tools. I am going to hire an individual on a trial basis but if all continues to go well, he can count on this work for many months, and perhaps years. I would rather hire someone who is honest about what he can do, and honest about what he cannot, and desires and works to learn what he does not know.
