Job Summary: The HOC will work on any/all phases of construction including (but not limited to): Planning, Permitting, and ensuring proper closeout of the construction phase in its entirety, while focusing on business development. The HOC reports to the COO/CEO on Operations, financials and deliverables, works directly to ensure the Construction Department and meets SmartDesign’s quality standards. Develop a cycle of work schematic to outline deliverables for each phase of construction work schedule ensuring all actions are completed for each of those phases. Hold weekly meetings with the accounting department and review billing/progress/costs of Overhead Ensures all labor and materials are ordered in a timely manner, based on production and installation lead-times; orders and coordinates delivery/pick- up of all materials required, ensuring pricing meets established budgetary requirements. Leverage and maintain current relationships as well as developing new ones to expand business development COMPETENCIES: Technical Skills – Exhibits strong understanding of the residential construction industry in the NYC market and shares expertise with others.
