This is a career-defining opportunity for an ambitious and skilled Interior Designer to join our team in Washington, DC or San Diego, CA. You will lead programming, conceptualization, development and integration of strategic design solutions for assigned projects, consult with manufacturers, research and evaluate materials, document architectural drawings, assist in construction administration, oversee the design work of others, support all phases of the design process, mentor junior staff, and participate in performance coaching. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design, 5+ years of experience in architecture or interior design, including min of 5 years experience working on DoD projects, LEED AP preferred, Architectural or Interior Design registration required, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, 3D program (V-Ray), Illustrator and InDesign programs, technical competence and proven experience in schematic design through construction documents, ability to contribute and participate in an interdisciplinary team environment, due to client requirements, ability to obtain a Secret level US Security clearance.
