About Us: Maaribu Home & Design is a woman-owned furniture and home decor boutique based in Austin, Texas. About the Role: We’re looking for a passionate, results-driven Sales and Design Associate to join our team and deliver outstanding customer experiences. The position also requires side work such as cleaning, restocking, checking in and inspecting new merchandise, and store resets. What We’re Looking For Experience doing interior design for clients in a retail setting or with a design studio, ideally with a book of businessExperience in high-end furniture and luxury retail salesProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goalsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsIn-depth knowledge of luxury furniture brands, styles, and materialsA polished, professional demeanor with a friendly, outgoing attitudeAbility to build and maintain lasting customer relationshipsEnthusiasm for design and interiorsComfortable working on your feet for extended periods and able to lift up to 40 lbsOpen availability, MUST have Sunday AvailabilityFamiliarity with Slack, shopify, gusto and google suite platforms is a helpful
