As a Home Design Specialist at Crate and Barrel, you will have the opportunity to inspire customers to reimagine their living spaces with the latest trends in home design. Leveraging a range of design styles from classic to contemporary, you will utilize cutting-edge digital tools during in-store and in-home consultations, bringing customer visions to life. Your responsibilities will include conducting customer outreach, developing aesthetically pleasing design packages in line with brand standards, and ensuring timely follow-up with clients. Drive sales and enhance customer experiences by providing enriching interactions and showcasing elevated design options in-store, in-home, and virtually.Create stunning designs for clients utilizing preferred design tools to develop mood boards, 2D & 3D floor plans, product lists, and presentations.Conduct engaging design consultations either in-person or through digital platforms.Deliver projects within specified timelines while maintaining a high standard of quality.Maintain clear knowledge of the brand's aesthetics and merchandising strategies across various channels including in-store, e-commerce, and catalog.Stay informed about product information, including characteristics and care instructions, while keeping pace with industry trends and competitors.Achieve individual sales and service goals and actively engage customers by demonstrating excellent selling techniques.Listen attentively to customers, identifying products that meet their needs while communicating our loyalty programs.Model exceptional customer service with a positive attitude, ensuring quick and efficient service for all clients.Support training initiatives and educate team members on design services to build a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.Develop enduring customer relationships through networking and personalized service.Demonstrate foundational design knowledge including spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting, and varying interior design styles.Exhibit strong communication skills, able to articulate the brand vision while aligning with customer needs.Show proficiency with technology tools such as 2D and 3D design software, Google Suite, and video conferencing.Stay updated on current design trends, adjusting approaches as business needs evolve.Qualifications: Understanding of the fundamental principles of design including spatial planning, fabric selection, and interior design styles.Proven communication skills with the ability to convey brand values and customer needs effectively.Strong technological proficiency, particularly with design tools and Google platforms.Ability to keep up with design trends and adapt to changing business scenarios.Demonstrated ability to build lasting customer relationships.Preferred Experience:
