Job Description About the Role You will be responsible for inspiring customers to express themselves in their home by utilizing your design expertise to assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home. Responsibilities • Utilize design expertise to assist clients in one-on-one consultations • Perform productive in-home consultations, including accurate measurement and assessment of client living spaces • Create and present design plans based on client needs, style, preferences, and living space • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve and exceed established sales and productivity goals • Provide exceptional customer service, including gift wrapping, gift registry, locating merchandise, and special orders • Demonstrate superior product knowledge, including features and benefits of the entire design studio assortment • Develop strong communication, clienteling, and customer follow-up skills Required Skills and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: • A bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field (or equivalent experience) • 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience (specialty retail preferred) • Excellent communication, design, and problem-solving skills • Able to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques • Familiarity with design software and technology Benefits
