We started small, but experienced a lot of growth with the booming real estate market and are looking for a Staging Design & Operations Lead to join our team to support our growing business. There is a lot of opportunity for growth here with us, we have a steady book of clients we work with and have an opportunity for someone to come in to further grow the business with us! You will be working directly with the business owner on managing the design and operations of all stagings - huge growth opportunity for a driven and self motivated individual! Ongoing Activities: \\- Coordinate with business owner & real estate agents weekly/daily on current/upcoming stagings & de-stagings \\- Visit potential staging properties, take photos & determine scope of staging with customer to be able to provide estimates/quotes \\- Keep warehouse (Fremont) organized & in optimal shape for ongoing staging operations - communicate any repairs/issues/updates required to business owner Staging Prep (per property): \\- Select, organize & pack inventory in advance of staging day: \\- Furniture (heavy lifting will be done by movers) \\- Decor & Artwork \\- Pillows & Linens \\- Coordinate pick up times with movers Staging Day (per property): \\- Guide/direct movers in loading/unloading vehicles & placement of furniture in rooms (may need to load/unload small/fragile items & boxes in your personal vehicle) \\- Placement, styling & finishing of all committed spaces in property (including hanging artwork, large artwork assisted by movers) \\- Take photos of finalized spaces & send to business owner (+ client) De-staging (per property): \\- Coordinate with business owner and/or clients on property de-staging timelines & coordinate with movers for pickup/dropoff (drop off could be at warehouse or another staging property) \\- Arrive at property before movers to prep & pack small-mid size items (decor, artwork, linens etc.) Identify & coordinate any items for repair, cleaning or discarding Qualifications \\- Experience in home staging and/or interior design preferred; passion/keen eye for design is a must \\- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel 50 mi+ across the Bay Area (our warehouse is in Fremont & each staging will require you to prep/load/unload there) \\- Professional, punctual, reliable, and organized \\- Endurance and ability to lift up to 30lbs Job Type: Part-time (hours will vary week by week, but range from 10-30 hours a week) Pay: $20 - $30 per hour (depending on experience) \\+ additional % commission for any new clients/business brought to Spark Designs, you grow with the business!
