Instructional Designer

Provides instructional design, pedagogical, and educational technology support to faculty in the delivery of face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses and programs. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:The instructional designer provides specialized expertise in the design, development, and pedagogical strategies for face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses. Facilitates collaboration between the Department of Cyberlearning, the Institute for Teaching and Learning, and YSU Information Technology Services to ensure seamless course delivery and support. Promotes and supports effective teaching practices, including active learning, student-centered instruction, and assessment for learning through professional development programming and consultation services. Skill in: Use of office equipment; typing, data entry; computer operation; use of computer software and other programs applicable to the assigned department/division*; project management for the implementation of course innovation and development projects.
