Interior Architect

UMÉ Studio is an architecture and interiors practice rooted in craft, sensory experience, and wellness. We are a small, focused studio that values rigor, precision, and beautiful execution. You will work closely with the Principal and project leads on hospitality and wellness projects, contributing to interior architecture, FF&E strategy, documentation, and site coordination. Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawingsSupport site visits and support construction problem-solvingEnsure execution aligns with drawings, details, and design vision Revit is a plusExperience with hospitality, wellness, residential, or boutique commercial projectsDeep understanding of interior detailing, millwork, finish assemblies, and consultant coordinationExperience producing CD sets for reviewAbility to work with furniture vendors to manage process and deliveriesStrong visual communication and graphic sensibilityFamiliarity with project management, construction administration, budget review, building codes, consultant coordination, and client relationsExperience working from concept design through to constructionFamiliarity with California codes and permittingClear communicator with a calm, organized, and self-directed working style
