THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Interior Architect with a strong architectural foundation, exceptional design eye, and the technical expertise to translate creative concepts into comprehensive architectural drawing sets, detailed renderings, and fully developed, buildable custom furniture.
This role is a balance of interior architecture and custom furniture design and development. A significant portion of the furniture, millwork, and architectural details in our projects are custom designed specifically for each space. We are looking for someone who is excited to be deeply involved in developing these pieces and working directly with makers, fabricators, and craftspeople to bring them to life.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable producing comprehensive architectural drawing packages and taking a custom piece of furniture from concept through fabrication—including design development, detailed drawings and renderings, dimensions, materials, construction details, and coordination with makers. You should understand not only how to draw and render a piece beautifully, but how it will actually be constructed.
This is a highly collaborative, hands-on position working closely with the design team throughout all phases of a project—from initial concept and design development through construction, fabrication, installation, and completion.
We are looking for someone who can balance creativity and a strong design sensibility with technical precision while confidently managing multiple high-end residential projects at various stages of development.
