Join RossDrulisCusenbery’s growing team designing exciting interior environments for civic, commercial and hospitality projects in the Bay Area and nationally. As a core member of RDC’s design team, you will work collaboratively with professionals in a variety of disciplines, as well as directly with clients and building users. Position requirements include: Responsibilities: Utilizing Revit software, design, coordinate and assemble complete sets of interior design and construction documents • Work collaboratively with RDC Principals and project teams • Program client requirements • Prepare interior design concepts and construction documents • Prepare Furniture, Fixture and Equipment (FF&E;) procurement documents • Review, coordinate and incorporate the work of outside consultants • Manage interior project scope, schedule and budget requirements • Conduct and document on-site observations • Process interior design submittals, RFIs, substitution requests and shop drawings • Interface with furniture vendors and material suppliers Qualifications: • 5 - 10 years of demonstrable experience as an Interior Architect or Interior Designer • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD • 3D rendering and visualization skills a plus • Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures • Team player, collaborative organizational, communication and relationship management skills • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design or related field • CA Architectural license or ASID accreditation ideal • LEED accreditation a plus. RDC is a medium-sized architectural design office located in Sonoma and Emeryville CA. We offer a remote work option, with full or hybrid in-office working opportunities depending on preference.
