Interior Architect/Interior Designer

This mid to senior level open position presents an opportunity for an Interior Architect/Interior Designer to join the Glastonbury, CT office of SLAM, a growing national firm of 275+ employees with additional offices in Atlanta, Boston, Denver, Iowa City, Los Angeles, Orlando, Providence, and Philadelphia. Overview of Job Description: • 10+ years of experience working as an interior architect or interior designer in the corporate market • Experience with the architectural design process and integration of all aspects of Interior Design, including programming, planning, design development construction documents, construction administration, and overall project execution • Good interpersonal skills, excellent listening, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of an effective team • Self-starter, responsible, organized, highly motivated, and detail orientated • Management of project budgets, schedules, consultants, staffing, resources, and general business practices • Ability to direct, organize and mentor junior staff with oversight of their activities • Ability to lead clients and project teams from initial concept through construction completion • Contribute to the growth, development, and success of the corporate market practice • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design (NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer) • Experience with Revit SLAM is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.
