Proprietor Kumi Wheeler is an NYU-trained designer, a former art and antiques specialist at a NYC auction house, and an experienced home renovation expert. She works closely with clients to involve them in the process of sourcing unique, high-quality, period and vintage furniture and decorative arts to curate home designs that are distinctive, unique, and expressive. The process begins with an initial phone conversation to confirm whether the consultant-client match is simpatico, followed by a meeting with the designer to discuss the client's style, tastes, vision, and needs. The designer presents a proposal, including a vision for design, estimated project length, and projected costs.
