Interior Design / Architectural Project Manager

Essential Functions / Responsibilities / Tasks... Primary duties, responsibilities, and tasks include, but are not limited to the following: Coordinate day-to-day site issues related to materials, labor and equipment of Interior Design work activities Develop and maintain project progress reports and schedules relative to Interior Design works Review products and finishes being installed are in conformance with project and contract documents Ensure quality workmanship of Interior design related work meets or exceeds TKC standards Provide technical assistance to internal and external team members related to all interior finish and design works Provide technical assistance to contractors, vendors and governments agencies to resolve issues Confirm all FF&E plans work dimensionally relative to field conditions in advance of order placements Coordinate electrical layout, plumbing layout, mechanical layout and life safety layout does not conflict with design intent in all Guest Rooms and Public Spaces Drive schedule as it relates to the Interior Design scope of work Review and verify contractor change order requests related to Interior Design scope Perform daily field inspections to ensure built environment aligns with construction and interior design objectives Attend preconstruction meetings with the project General Contractor's interior finish subcontractors and vendors Review, comment and approve contractors monthly pay applications relative to interior finishes work to ensure accuracy of work completed and billed Review construction shop drawings and submittals related to Interior Design works Review and respond to Requests for Information related to Interior Design work and draft ISK's when appropriate Collaborate with TKC Interior Design team in preparing, reviewing and distributing ISK's as necessary Become thoroughly knowledgeable with the project Guaranteed Maximum Price and all clarifications and qualifications associated with the GMP Act as the liaison between TKC Interior Design team and the project General Contractor Develop punch lists for Interior Design work and ensure corrective work is scheduled and completed by the General Contractor in a timely fashion Work with TKC project based team in the turnover and final acceptance of Guest Rooms and other Public Spaces Coordinate with TKC Procurement team and vendors during the overlap of FF&E installation and punch out process Supervisory Responsibilities No direct reports Minimum Qualifications (Education, License, Certifications, Experience) Bachelor's degree in Design / Architecture or equivalent training, education and experience required 5 years of relevant work experience in similar scope and title preferred Experience within luxury brand/markets - preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's) Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with contractors, vendors and government agencies Ability to read and interpret design and construction drawings, specifications, schematics and FF&E plans Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail Proficient in AutoCad, Revit, Adobe/Bluebeam and Construction Management software Exceptional problem solving skills Thorough understanding of finish and building materials means and methods, furniture systems, building systems, construction details and construction techniques Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stoop, bend and crouch on a daily basis. Push, pull, and lift up to 30lbs on a weekly basis. Reach with hands and arms, use fingers to handle or feel. Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, without the use of a private office. Must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines with a high degree of optimism, professionalism & collaboration.
