Interior Design Assistant

Residential design firm is seeking a part-time assistant to join our team! You will assist principal designer with all aspects of a project, from concept to completion. We are looking for a committed person who is eager to grow with our rapidly expanding business. Requirements: -Must have minimum 1-2 years experience as a design assistant in an interior design firm -Degree in Interior Design from an accredited program, a plus -Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop, Excel -Working Knowledge of Ivy and Quickbooks, a plus Qualifications: \\- Excellent note taking & documentation \\- Have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented \\- Have the ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as part of a team \\- Knowledge of construction documents \\- Positive attitude \\- Ability to work flexible hours maintaining several projects \\- Knowledge of vendors & showrooms a plus \\- Attend project meetings and site visits with Principal Designer \\- Ability to create/ maintain schedules, timelines & status reports \\- Maintain client communication to ensure that goals are being met and any problems are effectively addressed in a manner that satisfies the needs of multiple parties \\- Coordinate with and assist Principal Designer for onsite project installations \\- CA Driver's License Compensation will be based on experience.
