This is a part-time position (approximately 20-25 hours/week) with opportunity for full time. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Design Assistant’s role will include the following (but are not limited to): Maintain schedules and appointments - overall management of the team’s calendar Update and manage projects/tasks Create digital mood boards Assist team with setting up for meetings, producing and procuring presentation materials, and creating new client packets Draft furniture layouts and selections Expand typical design and architectural details such as elevations of built- ins and tile layouts Sourcing/selection of fixtures and finishes Organize digital library, item input into design catalog (ivy) Communicate with vendors and showrooms to acquire pricing quotes and lead times. Logistics support and coordination for installs, photo shoots, and client/ job site deliveries Update and manage process documentation and develop organizational procedures for the office Update digital platforms such as Houzz with project photos and searchable keywords REQUIREMENTS: EXCELLENT written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and eye for detail are essential.
