Interior Design Assistant (High-End Residential | Procurement + FF&E)

Duties • Assist senior designers with conceptual development, space planning, and drafting using tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite • Support procurement processes by sourcing high-quality furnishings, lighting fixtures, and materials aligned with design visions and client specifications • Prepare detailed drawings and presentations that incorporate color theory principles and CAD drafting standards • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of FF&E items and oversee quality control during installation • Manage project documentation including contracts, budgets, and schedules using project management software • Conduct site visits for renovation and remodeling projects to monitor progress, verify specifications, and troubleshoot issues related to construction or lighting sales • Assist in creating lighting designs that enhance aesthetic appeal while meeting functional requirements for high-end residential spaces Skills • Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and visualization • Strong understanding of interior design principles including color theory, lighting design, renovation techniques, and remodeling processes • Experience with project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, contract review, and vendor coordination • Knowledge of construction practices and familiarity with contracts related to high-end residential projects • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members while maintaining attention to detail • Skilled in CAD drafting and technical documentation for construction documents • Passion for interior design with a focus on luxury finishes and sophisticated aesthetics Experience: • Interior design: 1 year (Required)
