Interior Design Assistant

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionApproximately 30/hours week This position directly supports Principal Designer/Owner. Must be able to multitask and handle multiple projects at once. Responsibilities All phases of interior design process: produce floor plans, elevations and schemes.Assist in managing and tracking order deliveries and installationsMaintain project budgets and schedulesComplete administrative tasks such as creating quotes, invoices, and purchase ordersStay updated on interior design trends and emerging products in the marketMeet with potential and current clients to present design plans, take site pictures and measurementsOrder fabric and project materialsUse computer software to draft layouts Serve as Liaison between Principal Designer and ClientWork within client budgets and needs to create the best space for themStay updated on interior design trends, emerging products and technical advancements in the marketQualificationsBS Degree in Interior Architecture or Design2 years minimum design work experience Strong computer skills, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite, Photoshop, and CanvaExcellent customer service skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills Benefits/PerksCompetitive Compensation401(k) matchingSmall Team Work EnvironmentFlexible Work HoursCareer Advancement Opportunities( Does not include Health Insurance )
