Interior Design Assistant

Company Description Sullivan-Strickler Design is a full-service interior design studio founded in 2019 by partners Theresa Sullivan and Victoria Strickler, who bring over 25 years of combined experience to each project. A luxury interior design studio in Grosse Pointe is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to support the Principal Designers with project coordination, design development, and studio operations. Assist with the coordination and execution of active residential design projects Track selections, specifications, and key project decisions throughout each phase of the design process Monitor lead times, purchase orders, shipment status, deliveries, and installation schedules Maintain organized and accurate digital project files and documentation Support communication with vendors, contractors, and project partners as needed Proficiency in CAD and Canva Basic understanding of residential construction processes, materials, and industry terminology Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive attitude, professionalism, willingness to learn, team player Reliable transportation for site visits, vendor meetings, and project installations $20.00–$30.00 per hour with benefits, compensation based on experience and qualifications.
