Interior Design Assistant/ Part-Time

Interior Design Assistant Pay Hourly based on experience Job Type Part-time Job Description small, high end interior design firm located in New York City, looking for an artful interior design assistant for direct support of the principal designer. You will deal with all aspects of projects from administrative support to conceptual design and project execution. The position will be mostly remote with occasional in person/on site meetings. Responsibilities -Process new client leads -Assist with design projects from concept to completion -Set agendas and take notes during client meetings -Research materials and source products -Produce mood boards and order samples -Track orders, deliveries, and budgets -Occasional in person meetings and site visits -Skills Requirements -Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions) -Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations. -Proficient in Excel, SketchUp and/orAutoCAD or other design programs -Portfolio of previous works -Creative talent, imagination and eye for design -Communication and presentation skills -BS degree in Interior Design or similar -Team player and positive attitude
