Interior Design Assistant

Daily tasks include sourcing furniture and finishes, organizing design presentations, updating project documentation, and maintaining sample libraries. The Interior Design Assistant collaborates closely with the design team to execute cohesive, well-detailed interiors from concept through installation. Strong foundation in Interior Design and understanding of design principles.Practical skills in Space Planning and creating accurate Floor Plans.Knowledge of Furniture selection, specifications, and layout.Effective Communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and vendors.Proficiency with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office or Google Workspace tools.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Relevant education in Interior Design or a related field; internship or studio experience is preferred.Ability to work on site in Pleasant Ridge, MI
