We are looking to hire a Design Assistant with a strong work ethic. \\- B.F.A /B.S. or Associates Degree in Interior Design or related field \\- 1-2 years experience in the Design field \\- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Suite \\- Excellent communication skills \\- Positive attitude and a strong desire for growth and learning \\- Strong problem solving skills \\- Highly organized & detail oriented \\- Ability to meet deadlines and multitask with multiple projects \\- Personable, self-motivated, and quick on your toes \\- Project management skills are a plus +++ Roles & Responsibilities: • Pricing, purchasing, and confirming lead times for furniture, fixtures, and materials • Draft and collect measurements for construction documentation • Assist in sourcing and ordering FF&E; for various projects • Order and maintain samples, create database of local Trade reps & showrooms • Prepare specification sheets for contractor and trades • Purchase and track delivery on furnishings for clients as required • Verify and bill clients for White Glove fees • Provide administrative support as necessary, including organizing, scheduling trades, procuring samples for fabrics, wallcovering and other finish materials, maintaining and developing systems and procedures for the office • Assist interior designer with installations, coordinate deliveries and handle post installation follow up activities • Assist with documentation during client meetings • Organize client files and Google Drive folders Hours: M-TH 10a-5pm Fri 10a-3pm Need: • Vehicle to p/u and drop off samples and run errands pertaining to project installs and design
