New South Home New South Home Matthews, NC Matthews, NC Full-time Full-time $45,000 - $55,000 a year $45,000 - $55,000 a year 6 days ago 6 days ago 6 days ago Job Responsibilities Attend and take notes in all client meetings and internal meetings, including initial consultation if needed Assist with Design Presentation preparation and meetings Assist designer in creating initial scope of work proposal Assist with creating room and updating layouts in CAD Assist with sourcing products based on guidance from designer Check product lead times and source reselections as needed Make site visits to take measurements of rooms and specific details based on company standards Request estimates from vendors as needed Update proposals with all selection details and costs for furnishing and d cor Prepare, pick-up, and order samples for all in person design presentations Work with Operations Manager to keep in-house sample library up-to-date and return samples after project is complete Create and... edit finish schedules for any remodel or custom build projects Work with Project Manager to schedule subcontractors and send client updates Prepare elevations and details needed for all subcontracted work to Project Manager Work with Lead Designer Project Manager to develop a styling plan and select accessories for projects Assist with project installations Requirements Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field 2-5 years experience in the interior design industry Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Sketchup, and 3ds Max Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards Detail-Oriented Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Experience in budgeting and project management Knowledge of lighting design principles and techniques Familiarity with 3-D Rendering software and Studio Designer is preferred Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
