This role requires an understanding of the elements and principles of design, includes client and vendor partner interactions, a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and drafting experience (Chief Architect preferred). Responsibilities: Join the principal designer on site visits, assist with measurements, notes and photos Help source products and materials Maintain both project samples and the overall samples library Create presentations, mood / design boards, color schemes, drawings and elevations Drafting and rendering in CAD-based systems, Chief Architect preferred Professional communication with other team members, clients... industry partners and contractors Create proposals and purchase orders for materials, furniture, etc Maintain records related to budgets, client purchasing, and tracking of purchases Keep both digital and physical samples, project folders, records and documentation organized and current Participate in client meetings, contractor and vendor meetings, project installations and photoshoots Support and track marketing efforts as requested We are a fast-paced work environment, requiring a high level of attention to detail. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design preferred, equivalent work experience will be considered 1-2 years of experience in a similar role Demonstrate an understanding of the foundational elements and principles of design CAD experience Confidence and skill to communicate your ideas clearly and concisely to the team and clients (verbal and written), including good note taking and organizational skills Problem-solving The ability to work in a fast paced environment while juggling several projects and tasks at once- multitasking is a must. 00 per hour Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: Canton, OH 44718: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Canton, OH 44718.
