Interior Design Assistant

Company Description EDIT Design House is a Bountiful, UT-based Interior Design Firm that specializes in high-end residential projects. • Full Time On-Site Position • Assist in the development of layouts and design concepts for projects • Support lead designers in selecting furnishings, fabrics, and accessories • Prepare detailed plans, drawings, and material specifications • Document product and furniture specifications • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation • Perform clerical tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining project files, and managing communications • Help in creating presentations and mood boards for clients • Conduct site visits to ensure project success and compliance with design specifications • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite • Excellent understanding of color theory, trends, and textiles • Strong project management and organizational skills • Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and accessibility requirements • Stress Management and Control- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Cohesive Comradery- Ability to help with multiple projects with multiple designers if needed.
