The perfect candidate will be very well organized, hard-working, creative, and above all collaborative. A design degree/background is preferred, but a positive attitude is mandatory. Role: Interior Design Assistant Reports To: Senior Designer Design Support Responsibilities : Create and maintain project follow up file, documents and designer delivery plans Tracking orders Pending report follow up Following up with vendors on projects Pulling options for lead designer Actioning design drawings Preparing presentation slides Ordering fabric/finish samples Checking stock/availability Lead research Freight quotes - finding weights/cu Presentation set up and clean up Maintaining design/trade room Pricing Install preparations Action Plan support Ensuring fabric library is current Overall design tool organization Potential reception support Making tags
