Interior Design Assistant/ AutoCAD Drafter

THE POSITION Interior Design Assistant/ AUTOCAD Drafter: The ideal candidate is very experienced in AutoCAD, with a background in Interior Design, and a keen attention to detail. A self-starter who is organized, can manage up and down, has great communication skills as well as the ability to extrapolate accurate information both internally and externally on existing and upcoming projects. RESPONSIBILITIES • Create detailed construction drawings and assist with design development including: floor plan updates, RCP’s, elevations, details, cabinetry, and millwork • Update vibe boards • Produce and update Finish & Material Schedules, Matrices, etc • Create and manage project binders and associated samples • Create system to manage and organize design office samples and resources • Work closely and collaboratively with internal office and field teams and occasionally outside architects, clients, field and project management teams.
