Interior Design Assitant

I am looking for an artful Interior Designer to undertake a variety of space designing projects, office management projects as well as assisting with some marketing/sales tasks. I am a small boutique design firm so an individual with a broad range of skills sets and a desire to engage and learn all aspects of the design business is best suited for this role. Education Required: Bachelors in Interior Design or nearing completion Responsibilities: \\--Undertake design project from concept to completion \\--Manage contracts, generating quotes and proposals for clients. \\--Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans \\--Set costs and project fees according to budget \\--Research and decide on materials and products sourcing \\--Produce “sample” and “mood products” \\--Supervise work progress \\--Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors \\--Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices Skills: \\--Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions) \\--Project management skills--excel, studio designer or other accounting software \\--Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations. \\--Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs \\--Excellent portfolio of previous works \\--Creative talent, imagination and eye for design \\--Communication and presentation skills \\--Writing skills \\--Social Media/Marketing skills \\--Bachelors degree in Interior Design or similar
