Interior Design Associate/Project Manager

EJ Interior Design is a high-end residential interior design firm based in Mill Valley. We are seeking a talented design associate/project manager to join our firm. This is a great opportunity to join a small team and participate in all aspects of the design process. • Prepare interior architectural schedules such as finishes, plumbing and lighting schedules • Meet with principal designer and clients to discuss project needs and ongoing progress updates REQUIREMENTS • Candidate should be fluent in AutoCAD, MS Office, Google Docs, Sketchup, Dropbox, (IVY knowledge a plus) • 2-5 years of residential interior design experience and design degree • Experience selecting and specifying lighting, furnishings, hardware, floor/window coverings, materials, fabrics and finishes • Clear understanding of the furniture and decorative design process, purchasing, expediting and installations • Professional, confidant, and positive • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and in drawings • Able to work independently and collaboratively as a team with a high level of initiative • Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task • Reliable, focused and detail-oriented • Knowledge of SF Design Center and vendors required • The candidate should have a dependable vehicle and be comfortable driving to job sites throughout the bay area and beyond.
