Responsibilities: - Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, needs, and budget - Create and present design concepts and mood boards to clients - Develop detailed design plans, including layout, color schemes, furniture selection, and materials - Source and select furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories that align with the design concept - Oversee the installation and implementation of design elements - Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the design process Skills: - Strong sales skills to effectively communicate and sell design concepts to clients - Ability to build strong relationships with clients and understand their unique needs - Proficiency in using design software such as Revit, Sketchup, or other CAD programs - Knowledge of lighting design principles and techniques - Excellent drafting skills to create accurate floor plans and elevations - Creativity and a keen eye for detail in designing aesthetically pleasing spaces Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
