Interior Design Associate or Interior Architect

We are looking for professionally motivated, self-directed people who are affable and well spoken; with excellent communication and technical skills; organized and excellent at team collaboration. We will continue working remotely through the end of the year, although applicants will need to be local enough to come into the office, make site visits, perform as-built measurements or meet clients at showrooms, a couple days a week or as required. As an Interior Designer/Architect you will: Create and develop innovative interior design ideas Design custom cabinets, case work and staircases Aid clients in detailed specifications, such as finish materials, lighting, appliances, and plumbing. Solve problems and overcome challenges both before and during construction Coordinate projects and collaborate with team members from initial design through plans development and construction administration Qualifications: 3+ year experience preferred Proficient in SketchUp Proficient in Revit strongly preferred Applicants should have a professional design degree or formal technical training Experience with commercial, tenant improvements, hospitality work, and refined architectural residential design Familiar with "Folio" is preferred Certified Kitchen and Bath design or CAPS cert. Note this is not a remote position- while some work will be able to be done remotely, we are seeking someone that will be able to work from our Olympia office.
