Interior Design Construction Coordinator

The individual in this role will be responsible for coordinating with subcontractors, vendors and suppliers throughout the project. Candidates should have experience with Interior design, scheduling, and material selectionof residential projects, as well as the ability to adhere to deadlines and budgets restrictions. The candidate shall also follow up with all players to make sure that project is complete within prescribed schedule and approved material. Must have proven knowledge in every stage of the construction process from understanding the scope, reading blueprints, procurement of materials in timely manner.

Have a good skill level with various software, e.g. Auto CAD, Microsoft Office. Including the ability to e-mail reports, upload and download pictures and information using apps.

The candidate will also coordinate with City / County officials for the permitting process.

JOB PURPOSE:

- Present and maintain a professional and effective relationship with all players including owners, agencies, architects, engineers, vendors and subcontractors.

- Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure that goals are accomplished on time and budget.

- General project management activities i/c

manage schedule, scope, and deliverables;
takeoff quantities and follow up with vendors for material supply in time

- Solve problems, without reluctance to seek a superior’s guidance.

- Coordinate agency and client requirements

- Maintain procurement logs/reports

- Beyond familiarity, be confident in your skills with various software, e.g. Auto CAD, Microsoft Office. Including the ability to e-mail reports, upload and download pictures and information using apps, and take online training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
