Interior Design Director - Vandelay Hospitality Group About Vandelay Hospitality Group About the Opportunity Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree from a CIDA-accredited 4-year Interior Design program, highly preferred • 6 to 10 years of experience at an architectural or interior design firm with a focus on hospitality or restaurant design • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Acrobat), Lumion or Enscape • Ability to lead a team and delegate tasks efficiently • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate design intent visually and verbally • Proven ability to independently manage design phases from schematic through installation • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and pivot between projects • Comfortable working at a computer 80% of the time, with occasional hands-on site involvement • Must be willing to travel 15% of the time • Bonus: Experience with hand sketched renderings and/or Procore or similar construction management software Perks • Medical, Dental and Vision benefits available • Professional development and career growth as part of a rapidly growing hospitality group • Paid Time Off • Generous dining discounts at all Vandelay Hospitality Group concepts • All Vandelay Hospitality Group restaurants are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and the 4th of July so our team can celebrate with their friends and family
