Job functions include but are not limited to... Work with plastics and metal materials in interior layout and assembly (door trims, body side trim, roof trim, cargo trim, shelf trim, pillar garnish, instrument panel, console, cockpit area) Bring to closure open items between departments and/or functional groups keeping cost, weight, performance and the customer's needs in balance, while ensuring all components meet program timing requirements by use of e-mail and face-to-face discussions Multi-task components or systems between vehicle lines from current production maintenance, per-launch and advance engineering to achieve timely and appropriate closure Daily use of NX CAD system to check the design and engineer component parts to achieve system and vehicle performance targets Coordinate design studio, vehicle development, body metal (BIW), suppliers, tool shops, restraints, wiring, and other design departments to ensure high quality design execution that meets the required functional, packaging and appearance requirements Support builds in the pilot plant and in the vehicle assembly plant - Manage multiple cost reduction proposals and track department level progress toward annual VO targets Qualifications: BSME required 0-4 years of post graduate experience only Basic understanding of automotive technology and engineering practices, with a hands-on background in the automotive industry Prefer experience with electrical harnesses and components Up to 10-20% travel may be required both domestic and international Willingness to work overtime as necessary to complete job Relatively clean driving record required Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident About the Company: When you talk to Infotree's customers, you will repeatedly hear that it is Infotree's personalized attention and focus to customer needs that has resulted in such strong repeat business.
