Two positions are available - one internship, and one for Junior Designer. We consider our collaborators—from ceramicists and specialty finishers to lighting designers and textile houses—part of our team. Your time at the studio will include working with a great team of designers who care deeply about producing quality work, learning essential aspects of materials and project management, and helping to create innovative interiors. The intern will bring essential skills to this position including excellent communications, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. · Visiting the design center and custom vendors to obtain fabric samples and finishes · Updating, organizing, and maintaining resource library Internship requirements: · Overall knowledge of residential finishes and applications · Working knowledge of interior architecture and design principles, theories, and concepts · Microsoft Office, AutoCad and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop proficiency is a must · Having your own vehicle is a must – mileage is reimbursed · Detail-oriented, organized, self-starter and personable · Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time and work independently · Have experience and is comfortable with using office phone ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ JUNIOR DESIGNER Primary Function: Responsible for facilitating design work under the support and supervision of the design team.
