Interior Design Firm Seeks Intern

We are an award winning interior design firm currently looking for an intern to join our talented team of designers. The ideal candidate would be a creative, self-motivated and meticulous individual that is willing to embark on amazing projects and a rewarding professional experience. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Strong Rendering skills Proficient in Auto CAD Provide excellent presentation skills and proficiency in Photoshop, particularly for renderings in addition to In Design, Sketch Up and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of and interest in environmental and sustainability friendly products Must be a US green card holder or US citizen and currently living in NY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: Sourcing finishes, furnishings and fabrics for hospitality and residential projects Designing and overseeing production of custom furnishings Exhibits understanding of the firm's design philosophy and brand standards Responsible for correspondence and coordination with consultants and vendors Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and bring new ideas and products to the table Coordinate with outside consultants and vendors Strong communication, organization skills and ability to work in a team environment To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter in PDF format via email.
