Interior Design Intern

High-end residential design firm located in New York is seeking an Interior Design Intern to join our team. This is a part-time (in office) paid position. Hours are flexible with class schedules. Collaborate with the design teams in all aspects of a project from concept to installation; including but not limited to: • Assist with presentation set-up and organization • Maintain and organize sample room/library • Support design team with administrative duties and business-related errands • Assist in creation of client presentations, design concepts, space planning, etc. • Sourcing fabrics and finishes • Communicating with vendors • Researching new products and vendors • Obtain quotes and tracking of orders for designers • Log packages and samples, photograph and arrange for returns and shipping
