Interior Design Intern

Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and be proficient in various design software. Responsibilities • Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for interior spaces • Develop design concepts, including spatial layouts, color schemes, and material selections • Create detailed drawings and specifications using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit • Prepare presentations using Adobe Creative Suite to effectively communicate design ideas • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any issues that arise during construction or renovation • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals involved in the project • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative design solutions Experience • Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Photoshop • Strong understanding of color theory, lighting design, drafting techniques, and interior design principles • Experience in project management within the context of interior design projects • Knowledge of contracts related to construction and renovation projects • Familiarity with budgeting processes for interior design projects • Background in sales related to lighting or other interior products is a plus Job Type: Part-time
