Interior Design Intern

• Assist in the preparation of contract drawings for new and alteration projects • Assist in conducting preliminary studies to obtain information as to space and design requirements, obtaining measurements and making sketches preliminary to the preparation of contract drawings • Assist in the preparation of design development drawings • Perform basic analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies and limited design layouts. • Research, gather, and record information for use in writing specifications Job Requirements Candidate must be a traditional or non-traditional student, currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master's degree program in the field of Interior Architecture or Interior Design who has completed 2 or more years in the program. A creative design portfolio is required. Qualifications: The proper candidate will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, attention to detail, teamwork, presentation and organizational skills. Maintains cooperative working relationships, internally and externally, and possesses entrepreneurial spirit and has forward thinking attitude.
