Interior Design Intern / Junior Design Assistant

This position will begin on a part-time, project-based basis, with the potential for hours and responsibilities to grow as the firm continues to expand. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in interior design, architecture, drafting, or a related fieldStrong interest in residential interior designStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProfessional communication skillsComfortable working independently and as part of a small teamFamiliarity with floor plans, measurements, and basic design documentationExperience with Canva, Adobe programs, AutoCAD, or similar design softwareExperience with 3D modeling software such as SketchUp is strongly preferredAbility to attend occasional client meetings and site visits throughout San Luis Obispo CountyReliable transportationWillingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as the firm growsThis is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in both the creative and administrative sides of interior design while working closely with the principal designer.
