This job is an opportunity to join a dynamic boutique residential interior design firm. We are looking for a hands-on, positive and reliable person to work directly with the Principal, Operations Manager and Design Assistant in the design process and Studio administration. This is a paid part-time position with potential to grow into full time. Responsibilities (to include, but not limited to): \\- Create floor, space, and furniture plans & elevations (CAD and hand drafting) \\- Prepare client presentations \\- Communicate with manufacturers and showrooms \\- Manage Design Library maintenance & organization \\- Manage sample returns \\- Client file creation & updates \\- Purchase Order creation, filing & organization \\- Vendor price quote requests \\- Coordinate installations and assist as required \\- Assist on photo shoots \\- Assist with social media updates Qualifications: Graduate or student of accredited Interior Design program Prior work at an interior design firm a plus Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel and hand- drafting, Studio Designer experience a plus (please advise) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional manner and appearance Social media savvy Dependable & reliable Familiar with San Francisco design showrooms Current drivers license with access to car, drive to work. Position: Part-time, paid hourly.
