We're adding an Interior Design Intern to our team in St. Louis (Richmond Heights). At GMA, an Intern has the opportunity to assist Interior Designers with the following: • Assist with space planning to enhance function, safety, and aesthetics of interior • Work with the team to generate interior architectural floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations and details for both permit and construction document • Incorporate corresponding material specifications and schedules related to architectural documents for use in bidding and final specifications • Assist in updating material library and meet with product manufacturer’s representatives • Collaborate with team members to prepare presentation materials as required, including but not limited to colored plans, colored elevations, 3D renderings, digital and physical finish palettes • Coordinate with construction project managers, architects, and other design disciplines as necessary through all phases of the project • Work with designers to advise client on interior design factors such as space planning, layout, and utilization of furnishings or equipment, and color coordination • Review of product submittals related to interior finishes Because we believe in creating opportunities for individual success among our associates, we are a 100% associate-owned company.
