Lizette Marie Interior Design is currently seeking a Student for a 2-3 day/week Internship for 2020. At LMID our mission is simple, render our client’s spaces for their ultimate purpose. Intern Responsibilities: Organize studio’s sample library Picking up and returning samples and materials Sourcing furniture, fabrics, and fixtures in correlation with the designer’s vision and the clients’ aesthetic Support the team with any and all design or administrative tasks that may arise Assist with client visuals using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator Draw detailed floor plans, elevations, etc. using AutoCAD or Google Sketchup Desired Qualifications & Skills: Interior Design school or related field, in progress or completed: 2 years Dependable and punctual Proficient in AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, Adobe Creative Cloud programs, MS Office Professional demeanor and sound judgment Excellent oral and written communication skills Highly organized w/ attention to detail Ability to take direction About You: You love to multi-task and are a great planner You love listening to music while you work You’re a ‘people’ person, you love to meet new people and able to chat to anyone about anything You revel in the chaos! You are stressed when things are too quiet You love to be surrounded by creatives, even though you may not be one You’re fun and understand luxury Likes dogs
