You should be highly motivated, reliable, and excited about design! Requirements: Degree or equivalent in Interior Design (or working towards finishing one) Prior experience with a design firm is a plus Familiarity with the SF Design Center, showrooms, and local vendors Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel (Other programs we use are: Adobe Suite, Ivy, and Keynote) Excellent communication skills A desire to learn and be hands-on Must have a current drivers license with access to a reliable car (work- related mileage is reimbursed) Responsibilities: Work directly with the principal and design assistant Create and edit furniture plans and elevations in CAD Vendor correspondence for quote and lead time requests Purchasing Expediting and warehouse correspondence Sample library organization Sample pick up and returns Assist with project installations and photo shoots Update social media We know there’s no such thing as a “perfect” candidate - we’re all a work in progress, growing new skills and capabilities all the time.
