Interior Design Office Maintenance / General Labor Seeking a general around the office person to tackle random cleaning, organizing and assembly/construction tasks. This is a 3 Month position, with the opportunity for permanent employment with the right fit. We’re a small design firm that needs a full-time employee through the end of 2021 to do stuff, move stuff, build stuff, pick up or deliver stuff, check stuff in, check stuff out, clean stuff. We work with a general contractor company, and this role will frequently assist their team at active construction sites cleaning up construction debris and moving/loading heavy things. Needs \\- Speaks English \\- Mon-Fri / 8-5 availability \\- Drivers license / reliable car \\- Can lift 75 lbs \\- Can climb a ladder \\- Self-motivated / can work alone at long stretches without wandering off and getting on your phone \\- Be on time \\- Can maintain eye contact during a conversation \\- Willingness to do dirty jobs (like plunge a toilet for instance) \\- Can understand and follow directions Valuable Skills \\- Painting \\- Construction/framing / Comfortable using power saws / drills \\- Spanish fluency \\- Design experience (someone with a background in stagecraft/tech theater experience) \\- Landscaping / gardening experience \\- Nice to be around \\- Can just figure stuff out If interested in applying, please call Taylor to schedule an interview on Monday Morning from 8:30 – 9:30 am.
