The Interior Design Project Manager position involves the following essential functions: • Collaborates on all phases of the design process including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, document preparation and construction administration • Collaborate with project team to develop interior design concepts for commercial and residential projects • Collaborates in the development of interiors concepts based on client vision, desire, project scope and architectural concept • Participates in and may assist in leading design presentations internally and externally • Effectively collaborates on implementation documentation and conveys design requirements and solutions to the broader design and construction team • Participates in the selection and presentation of furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), color palettes and lighting • Coordinates and participates in client presentations • Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects. You also meet the following requirements: • A degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field. • Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to interior design. • Strong knowledge in construction. Frequently required to sit, stand, and move about the office; frequently moving outdoors may be required; ability to lift and carry large plans or boxes in excess of 10 lbs; frequently operates a computer and other office equipment; ability to coordinate and participate in client meetings; constantly communicates with project team and related parties; ability to maintain standards related to architectural design and production; ability to adhere to timely and consistent attendance.
