Boutique Interior Design firm seeks an experienced Project Manager. The position requires direct involvement in every aspect of the design process, with opportunity to grow. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Designing floor plans and elevations, sourcing and acquiring materials for presentations, assisting in client and vendor meetings, maintaining up to date financials and delivery schedules and assisting in the management of project installations. Experienced in space planning, furniture, fabrics and color compositions Skilled in designing custom furniture and overseeing production of custom furniture Adept at creating installation schedules, budgets and presentations Strong knowledge of Luxury/High-End Showrooms and product lines Skilled in overseeing and managing job-site contractors, deliveries and installations Adapts easily to scope changes, directives and can keep up in an extremely fast paced environment Interior Design or Architectural Degree. Minimum of 4 years experience in an Interior Design Office Expert in the use of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Ilustrator and Photoshop Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, understanding of Studio Designer Able to travel primarily throughout New York City and Long Island area - Overnight stays are sometimes required.
